Association of Chief Police Officers / Terrorism and Allied Matters (ACPO/TAM)

The National ANPR Data Centre (NADC) provides national real time analysis of sensor data used for major crime and counter terrorism effort.

The NADC provides real time hotlist matching, real time data mining tools and historical data mining tools.

NADC is a substantial data warehouse and at the time of installation it was the largest Oracle Database in Europe. The NADC assists the UK Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) denying criminals use of the roads.

The current solution has the storage capacity to hold ALL sensor sightings for a period of 5 years and to make the full data set available for analysis. This phase of development also introduced mapping tools to aid visualisation of information on a local and national level.
